Manual Journal.............Need to have "Reverse" button made active where it is now grayed out when

Accountants desire that preparers be able to enter the data for a manual journal, save the journal, then select "Reverse" and the period to be affected without leaving that window...as was our practice in 11i.

As it is now in 12.1.3, the "Reverse" button is grayed-out and the manual journal must first be posted before the "Reverse" button becomes active. 

Your assistance would be greatly appreciated where 12.1.3 can be modified to act as 11i when we need to reverse journals.
