Sun Alert 1579923.1 ZFS swap

Hi All,

Does anyone have some additional info on Sun Alert 1579923.1 ?

The alert itself says "Binary relief for this issue is available via the normal support channels. A final resolution is pending completion." which isn't very explanitory to me.  The BUG 15808754 referenced has some Doc IDs that suggest Kernel Patch 147440-19 resolves the issues, but the bug also mentions 147440-24, but none of the kernel patches since then seems to say they resolve that bug (and the bug says it is still open pending review).

I ask because I am using 147440-19 and think I might have this issue with a very old unsupported 3rd-party binary that experiences memory allocation errors.  I'm in the process of patching and would be nice to know that patching to current kernel 147147-26 or better might be a real solution rather than just "here's hoping".
