Hello,

I have My Siebel 8.1.1.7 installed  on Oracle Enterprise Linux 6.1 kernel -uek-2.6.32-100.28.5.el (64-bit) Update 1 or above, the are 2 cores, 4 GB of RAM, 40 GB disk space.

When I enter df-h I have:

Filesystem            Size  Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/mapper/vg_ncapp-lv_root
                       34G   19G   14G  58% /
tmpfs                 2.0G     0  2.0G   0% /dev/shm
/dev/sda1             485M  133M  327M  29% /boot
oracle@10.111.111.65:/home/oracle/app/siebel/gtwysrvr
                       34G   26G  6.2G  81% /home/oracle/app/siebel/gtwysrvr

I have such problems:

1. Database Extract takes a lot of time. I started it yesterday about 6 o`clock PM, now it is 11:54 AM and it is still Active. In "tasks" it has status "Running" on proces: "  Part 2: Found 60579 items while identifying visible objects.". It is still on this proces for abot 15 hours. Is it normal? WHat can cause such a big problem with performance?

Howdy, Stranger!
