Query to find the Journals posted to Prior Period

Hi,

I am looking for a query which will give me the journals posted to prior period.

Eg: Current priod is OCT-13 . We posted an adj journal to SEP-13 .

I am looking to find out using the query like this Period (Posted date) Not Equa to Period (Effective date).

Is it possibelto write a query like that. I dont know how to get the period of the effective date which is the Prior period?

Any pointers will be greatly appreciated.
