PAY: Proration Alternatives

Dear All

Good Day.

We are working on a legislation wherein there is no delivered proration functionality. The proration tab is disabled in the element type creation window. This makes PRORATE_START and PRORATE_END unavailable for payroll calculations. In this case, what would be the alternative to calculate the Proration functionality? I would appreciate if anybody can share the sample formula with element input values for this purpose.
