Custom Field Update

Hi, Say, I have used Web Service 2.0 Generic WSDL for CRM integration. I generated stub and started integration.
Now, the client has added a custom field to an object type Contact.
How can i get the value of the newly created custom filed through the web service call? Also, How to update the same? ...
