Can not perform misc receipt

Hi
I am not able to perform Misc Receipt. Each time i input the locator, i get message 'CAnnot create records here'. Clicking ok allows the user to continue. However after putting the account distribution, user gets the error 'Please enter a value for parameter or segment Project'.

Is this error due to the locator or the distribution? Would appreciate some help.
