Issue with elements (linked as standard to segment(s) in the People Group KFF) end-dating when assig

 We have an issue with our elements that are linked as standard links to one or more segments in the People Group KFF.  Our People Group KFF has three segments.  Some employees have 1, 2 or all 3 segments populated with data.  We have special elements (Shift Pay, Team Pay, etc.) that are linked to 1 or 2 of the People Group KFF segments as standard element links.  When an update is completed on the employee's assignment, the standard element link is end-dated.  It appears as though Oracle is invalidating the eligibility even though the employee is still eligible.  For
