Can I know how the processors are counted in intel xeon servers(hyper-threading) ?

Hi,

 We are using Oracle VM over RHEL and oracle VM manager shows the OS is allocated 6 processors. But, from hardware level, it has only one core with 6 threads per core.

 So, for licensing purposes, in this scenario, how would the number of cores/processors be counted? It is 6 or 1?
