rman duplicate from active active database for standby
We have a large database that we would like to clone with rman duplicate from active active database for standbyWe however have concerns about possible performance impact that this operation could have on the live database.
The server specifications of the primary server are as follows:
#CPUs = 2
#Cores = 20
#Threads = 40
Memory = 513 GB
the Primary and proposed standby are on the same LAN connected with Gigabit Ethernet adapters.
We propose to use 2 channels for rman to perform the duplication.
Would this cause a noticible performance problem on the primary database ?
