Depot Repair Third Party Repair

Hi

Can any one please help with my below questions

- In order to use depot Repair Third Party repair is it always necessary that Inventory Items have to be Serialised & Install Base Tracked ?

- Can Third Party repair be implemented for Lot controlled items ?

- If the inventory items are out on repair (i.e Shipped out to third Party Vendor on Third Party Sales ) , Will the Inventory Valuation decrease for this Parts ?
