ACCOUNTING FLEXFIELD FUTURE SEGMENTS

 Hi All,

Can anyone shed some insight on the impact of adding future segments to a COA, and keeping them hidden from users?
The client is concnered that if the future segments are displayed at this time when they are not needed, business users may become confused, so we plan on keeping them enabled but hidden.

Will interfaces or subledger transactions be impacted?
