Oracle Database Files In Directories or Partitions
Hi,
I need advice on the best way to configure the disks and filesystems that the Oracle Database is installed in.
There are two schools of thought, one going for placing database files in partitions (for example, creating u01 as a partition instead of a directory) and the other going for creating directories in the single root (/) partition.
