Sales Quote update allowed even after the quote has been approved....??? how to prevent this...??

 hello all,
I am facing an issue regarding the sales quote to order cycle, 
Even after the quote is approved, I am able to change the quantity in the quote also 
I am able to add new lines to the quote.

The quote status remains "customer acceptance required" and I am able to process the 
Quote normally.

How to stop someone from updating the quantity in an approved Sales Quote.?
