Why can't EBS connect to WebCenter Content 11g via WebDAV?

in Technology Stack - EBS (MOSC) Question

I found this note that talks about connecting EBS to WebCenter Content (formerly UCM) via WebDAV.
1061947.1 - Integrating Oracle E-Business Suite (11i, R12, and R12.1) with Content Management Repositories

It only mentions UCM 10g.

Another notes says that 11g is not supported.

 Can E-Business Suite Connect to UCM via WebDAV? (Doc ID 1371601.1)

Why is 11g not supported? WebCenter Content still supports WebDAV. In WebCenter Content 11g the WebDAV URL has changed, is this the issue?
