Abnormal change in Unit cost

Hi,We have observed abnormal increase in Item Unit Cost.
Please refer attached screenshot for the issue clarification.
Unit cost has been updated by Average Cost Update transaction.
After investigating the issue I think this change is due to Exchange rate variation between PO price & Invoice price.
Can anyone help me out?
