RMA- Awaiting Return Dispostion

Hi ,

We have an issue with RMA.

Sales order qty -4,

3 qty is received. For 1 qty Still inspection need to be perfomed.

Sales order line status is "Awaiting Return Disposition".

Now user is saying only 3 qty need to be recieved, please cancel 1 qty.

Please advise how to correct the transaction in this scenario. If we return one qty to customer, the status of the sales order line will be changed to "Returned".

Is it possible to change the sales order qty to 3 and return the one qty to Customer throough returns form
