Need additional periods for OIC payments
Our GL calendar is based upon a calendar month, however, OIC needs to pay using semi-monthly accumulation periods. I have 2 questions:
1. Will the GL or any finance module be impacted if we add the semi-monthly periods to the calendar with the type = Pay Period?
2. OIC was configured prior to defining the semi-monthly periods so when the set of books was defined in system parameters, the period type id assigned was 21 (user defined monthly period). Will OIC be able to see and use the semi-monthly periods (type=Pay Period) with a period type id = 41?
