Profile Options for numeric settings

Hello, trying this for a 3rd time as My Oracle Support pages keep hanging on Save

I have a business requirement to add commas in requisition amount. (Currently 1000000.00, requesting 1,000,000.00)

I have profile option 'ICX: Numeric Characters' set at 10,000.00 - Do I also need to set 'Currency:Thousands' to Yes, and, if so, will this cause any issues with current data?  Are there any other profile options related to this?
