Accounts payables Trial balance - Report layout

We cloned PROD to another test instance as part of our move to a new server. We ran the Accounts Payable trial balance report in PROD and other similar clone instance and the Layout defaults to "Accounts Payable Trial Balance - Group by Third Party" but in one of our clone test instance it defaulted to Accounts Payable Trial Balance - Group by Third Party, details".

We did not change any configuration. As a result when the user tested the above report for Summary mode it did not return any data.

We are wondering what would have caused the system to put a different layout but which we did not experience in other instances.
