Common Routing

We have the below requirement on Changing the common routing. We are facing issue/functionality limitation when a part with common routing has work order opened and placed on shop floor.

 

Steps to navigate the issue:-

1) Create a new part number ‘ABC’

2) In the BOM module, assign a common routing to the new part ‘ABC’

3) Open a work order for the new part ‘ABC’

4) Complete the work order*

5) Now we discover the routing for the new part ‘ABC’ is not correct. We want to replace the current common routing for the new part with another common routing. Can this be done, and if so How???
