Oracle Streams bi-directional replication between 11gR1 (11.1.0.7.0) and 11gR2 (11.2.0.4.0)

Hi, has anyone faced an upgrade from 11gr1 to 11gr2 with streams in-between and upgrading one site at a time? we need to do the upgrade and we are testing this scenario, but streams capturer on 11gr1 crashes, i'm almost sure this is not supported , or is because a missing patch.

Any help finding  a doc will be great!
