Restart of Concurrent Programs after application of ATG.RUP7

One of my clients applied ATG.RUP7 in Feb 2013 and ever since have had intermittent issues where the System hangs; no concrete evidence of a database hang.
When this occurs the concurrent managers restart via ICM and submit duplicate jobs in some cases which then causes database corruption.  They are manually handling the database corruptions but still trying to ascertain the root cause of the hang and the managers restarting (Associated SR 3-6948321451).

Any pointers/help with associated issue would be greatly appreciated.
