ActiveX/COM replacement in Open UI

Hi,

We used web client automation server, this installs small Active X controls on user desk top to integrate Siebel and Genesys soft phone. Genesys soft phone usually used to call business service in Siebel using Desk top Integration Active X control.   Now Active X controls are not supported with open UI. Please provide your suggestions to achieve similar functionality with open ui.
