psadcefc.sql runs for a very long time during 11i upgrade to R12.1

Release 12.1.1

We are upgrading 11i instance (11.5.10.2) in a test environment to R12 (12.1.1) using upgrade driver.
The adpatch session, shows following job for psadcefc.sql, which runs for a very long time, possibly does not complete.

Following not emay be helpful.

But since, the job is in running mode, adctrl skip 8 cannot work. Can you kindly suggest the appropriate way. Should "kill -9 pid" be appropriate?
