Purpose of Display in Notification in Payables Look ups

 Hello,I came across 'Display in Notification' flag in the below navigation in payables.
Please let me know, the purpose of it and how it can be useful.

Responsibility: Payables Manager

                  Navigation:   Setup > Lookups > Payables

Query on Type AP_ISP_INV_CREATION_TYPE and in the DFF for MATCHED, you have  Display in Notification, Yes or No
