Oracle Database 11.2.0.1.0 installation failed in Windows 8 OS

 Hi,

While installing Oracle Database 11.2.0.1.0 (64 bit) in Windows 8 (64 bit )OS i am  getting the error as it does not meet the pre- requisites. When i checked the log generated i am getting the below mentioned error in the log files.

oracle.cluster.verification.PreReqNotSupportedException: Reference data is not available for verifying prerequisites on this operating system distribution

I tried both 32 bit and  64 bit 11g db and i am not able to install . In the certification matrix it says this version supports windows 8 . Can any one of you please help me out ? what are the pre requisites required for this version to support windows 8?
