Goldengate 12c Installation

 Hello Experts,
Can Goldengate 12c be installed on 11.2.0.3 oracle database or  will need atleast 11.2.0.4 version, At present most of our database run on 11.2.0.3.

Also can coordinated replicat process be used as replacement for the RANGE function.At present we have implemented RANGE function to apply the txns in parallel (4 replicates) we get volume of about 80 million records during the batch.  

Can the coordinated replicat process used for this purpose .
