Contract Purchase Agreements

Hi,

 We are trying to create Contract Purchase Agreements  through a backend script.

I have seen in metalink that there is NO PUBLIC API available to create the contract purchase agreements.

Is there any Private API for the same.What is the best approach to created the contract purchase agreements through backend.

Is the base tableinsert approach good?

Pls share you thoughts ASAP as this is bit urgent.
