Oracle 12c client on BI Publisher 11.1.1.7

Hi,

I am trying to create a JDBC connection on BI Publisher 11.1.1.7 with Oracle 12c client  to a Oracle 12c Database. Selected the Driver Type as Oracle 11g. But it says 'Could not establish connection'.

I tried the similar scenario on BI Publisher 11.1.1.7 with Oracle 11g client to connect to a Oracle 12c Database and selected Driver Type Oracle 11g. It still says 'Could not establish connection'.

This DB is getting connected through sqlplus so there is no issue with the database. Please help to successfully create a JDBC connection to a Oracle 12c Database from BI publisher.
