eProcurement Requisition- Suggest New supplier

 Hi,
I would like to know the significance of Suggesting New supplier on the ePro Requisition- Special Item request page. (PS 9.2)
I created a new requisition and suggested a new supplier. The Suggested supplier does not show up on Expedite requisition for the Buyer to see. 
How will buyer come to know that a supplier has been suggested by the requester?
