How to update a Partner Contact Profile Attribute

Hello, I created a custom profile attribute in the Channel Administrator Responsibility. It is named - "Star Number" but that is immaterial.
It has the "Expose to Partner Flag" = Y
Also it is "Related to Partner Contact"

Now, when I go to a specific Partner in the Channel Manager responsibility, I can see Partner Contacts. I select one Partner Contact and click update to update its "Star Number" but that field does not show up for update.

Why is the update of the Profile Attribute for Partner Contacts blocked ?
