Tax classification is not defaulting on SO Line

HiWhile creating a sales order there is no value in the field 'Tax Classification Code', so tax is not calculated on the line. Each time i have to manually choose the tax from the LOV and and then the tax gets calculated.

Is there a set up i have missed somewhere that prevents the tax to appear on SO line?

Would appreciate your help.
