Miscellaneous receipts in Receivables

Our client has request that Is there any way or work around to apply miscellaneous receipts in Receivables?

 

We know the standard functionality Is that receivables activities are not applicable to miscellaneous receipts. Non-invoice related transactions such as investment and interest income are known as miscellaneous receipts in Receivables, cannot apply these to any debit or credit items.

 

As Receipt Type is Standard or Miscellaneous, is there any way that oracle we can enable Search & Apply  button for miscellaneous type?
