Could Not Reserve Record Keep Trying

 What could be done to resolve this issue.

We have done all the steps below

This error usually happens when trying to save a change and that record is in a locked status, usually the very user trying to make the change.

These steps may resolve the problem:

1)Refresh the form using the "Clear"  icon (looks like a pencil erasing on a piece of paper).

2)Re-query the desired record.

3)Save

4)Change the status

There is no lock at application level or database either.
