Characters copied from Word document to note text on PO's will not print correctly

Hi Experts
Buyer copies comment from Word document which contains the special fomatted long dash into a text To Supplier note.  When the PDF prints, the long dash prints as a question mark.  Is there any way to overcome this printing problem?

The issue happened on PO PDF prints only.
