DB is not opening after RMAN restoration

Hi team,

We ahve tried to open the database after RMAN restoration , but it is not opening , and it is asking for old archives which are older than 6 months for recovery. I have alreeady restored the controlfile from recent backup and tried, but no luck. This DB has been restored 1 yr ago from RAC db, but it is a standalone DB now. I can see it is asking for Thread 2 logs for recvovery.. could you guys please advise me how to open the DB now?

SQL> alter database open resetlogs ;
alter database open resetlogs
*
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-01113: file 1 needs media recovery if it was restored from backup, or END BACKUP if it was not
