A9.3 Canadian Payroll Bonus payment and Regular Pay on Single Check

I am testing JDE World A9.3 Canadian Payroll and it is not calculating tax on the bonus payment when it is included with the regular pay.  Does vertex support this calculation?  Or do I always have to separate lump sum/bonus payments from the regular payroll?
