Lockbox for BAI2 format

According to  Bug 4951683 : ORACLE LOCKBOX DOES NOT CONFORM TO BAI2 STANDARD (which is an enhancement request), it is currently not possible to use BAI2 files to create receipts via the lockbox interface.

Did anyone create a workaround or customisation to get this to work ?
