Need details about configuring Oracle TDE with an external KMIP server

The session description at https://oracleus.activeevents.com/2013/connect/sessionDetail.ww?SESSION_ID=8440 seems to be talking about using KMIP to manage keys of Oracle Key Vault, to ultimately use Oracle Transparent Data Encryption (TDE).

I could not find any doc online or on Oracle support site about this.

What version of KMIP does Key Vault support?
Does Key Vault acts as a KMIP client, or KMIP server?
If it acts as a KMIP client, how do you configure it to talk to an external KMIP server?
