Can we purge customers in Oracle Apps 11i or R12

 Hi,

Can we purge customers in Oracle Apps 11i or R12. Actually we came across one requirement recently. We wanted to SHUTDOWN(Purge all transactions and customers and suppliers related to that Operating Unit) one operating unit. Can any one done before. Can you please help me out?
