How Calculate Product Cost

Hi;

I am facing problem in calculating product Cost; i have followed the following steps, but unable to get the product cost;  please advice if i am missing any step or not defined any setup properly.

Step1: Costing information, costing method is defined as standard
Step2: Define Formulae, Recipe, Routing, Assign Resources (Labour, Machine)
Step3: Create batch, Release, Closed.
step4 :Run standard costing
step5 :run cost update
step6: check product cost using navigation, Financial >> Item Cost.
