Hi All,
Am currently installing 10g RAC on one of the server to mimic the existing production server for OS migration.
As part of this i have already installed CRS/ DB Software. But am curious to understand whether i need to install ASM software seperately as ASM ORACLE_HOME, if so, should i use same DB software(./runInstaller)?
As per my knowledge, it is recommended to have ASM HOME and ORACLE_HOME seperately, if so, please suggest whether i should install ASM software after installing DB software?? from same binary?
Also suggest how to migrate the both ASM & Oracle database from one server to another server to mimic the setup
