 Hello All,
I have a Linux box where my database sit and my catalog DB sits on another Linux server. I will like to backup to a drive sitting on a window server.
I have been seeing some forum around which says that oracle does not support this even though i can make some configuration to make it work.

If I backup to local drive and then SFTP to windows share directory, how will RMAN knows about this new change when it is time to recover.

Please, can anyone advise.
