Chinese Characters in text files

I am trying to get the P0457D program to output a text file with Chinese characters. They are fine in the database, but do not come out correctly in the text(diskette) file. I have tried setting the default in with the P93081 program, but it does not appear to have any affect. Anybody have any ideas?
