Database Performance Comparison for After Go Live.

Hi Folks,
We have one of our project Going Live next Week.  I want to know the best way / recommended ways to do comparison between two time periods ( this week vs next week ).

The DB was already up on running and configured properly and has been tested as well few months Ago.   By Go Live I mean to say that Application would start getting real load/real time transactions. I just want to compare what could be DB, performance , resources usage hike after it goes live.

Your Inputs are Appreciated !!!
