Siebel 8.1.1.8+ installation on Solaris 11 (SunOS 5.11)

 Did any one manage to install Siebel 8.1.1.8+ on Solaris 11 operating system?

I am trying to install Siebel 8.1.1.10 on Solaris 11 which is supported as per the documentation.
Right at the beginning of the installation, I am getting the error message:

"Checking operating system requirements...
Expected result: One of 5.9,5.10
Actual Result: 5.11
Check complete. The overall result of this check is: Failed <<<<
Problem: Siebel 8.1 is not certified on the current operating system.
Recommendation: Make sure you are installing the software on the correct platform."

I managed to complete the installation by ignoring the error and bypassing the OS validating step based on Siebel's support advice.
