How do we resolve age old-- javax.net.ssl.SSLException: Unrecognized SSL message, plaintext connecti

 Hi,

This is one of most often, though unanswewd question of all times.

I have a Custom Java Program which communicates with Cloud based Oracle CRM On Demand Server(https://secure-********.crmondemand.com)over HTTPS through the proxy server[proxyhost=*.*.*.* proxyport=****]. I have hardcoded the prosy setting in the Java program

Stranglely, sometimes  the program gives the following error javax.net.ssl.SSLException: Unrecognized SSL message, plaintext connection?.Why is that sometime i get this error and sometimes not. Is it due some certificate issue? If yes is their any guide which can tell me how to install cCRM certificates on my Linux and Windows machine.
