C++ Debugger

We are on 9.1.3.3     The customer has made customizations to X00Tax.  I need to put X00TAX into C++ debugger but I can't get it to stop in debugger.   The debug log says something to the effect that X00Tax is now processes as part of the kernel.  
Thanks for any and all help.
