We have a situation where we need to keep the Java JRE 1.7 on our EBS 12.1.3 servers at update 21, so we do not force all users to a higher Update version of 1.7. But a few of our users had a non-EBS need to update their client computers to JRE 1.7 Update 45. Such users have no issues using our EBS 12.1.3 application with JRE 1.7 Update 45 on their clients. However, there is that annoying, but harmless, Unknown Publisher warning. Does anyone have a solution for the problem described below?
Once a client's JRE 1.7 is updated to Update 45, the Unknown Publisher warning [attached] does not offer the user the ability to suppress such warnings in the future. So the user receives the Unknown Publisher warning every time he/she logs into Oracle EBS 12.1.3 and first opens a Java form.
